A very serious question indeed...

Sigh...

I've come along way with this blog. Hope you have enjoyed it, and will continue to enjoy what I post... I have about 300 - 400 albums left to post, and I apprehend more music as the neon lights of the world roll by, so I'm not running out of material any soon. Alltough it still is tough to post all of the upcoming albums, since my studies take up the better part of my time; there is VERY LITTLE SPARETIME to use on this blog for me.

BUT...

There is the simple matter of satisfying newly arrived blogger followers. The internet is a really complex and important tool for mass media communcation. I've tried to balance demand and progress; trying to realize requests by asking for re-ups as time totters by.

SO...

How would you truly feel if I restarted this blog from scratch, posting every single album by date fashion as it originally was posted with all the accessable videos and instrumental LPs and EPs and god knows what...? This might, no no no...definietely postpone the posting of any new albums Upfront Rudies, the Quiet Mob, the Henchmen, Goodie Mob, Redman's THEE Album etc. etc. etc., alltough I might be flexible enough to combine the two adversaries of old and new across the scale here...

Yours sinerely Magga

PS! This is a serious evaluation!!!

Thoughts anyone?

I enjoy stopping by and checkin' the site out either way. It seems like a tremendous amount of work to start from scratch and repost everything. I'm not sure what the advantage is for anybody...

Either way, nice site.

Thanks.

This blog is the one who lead me to all that good '90s rap and I really appreciate your work Magga. Ever since I look through this blog daily looking for some freshness for my ears :D There are some dead links right here, so I think to start from scratch is not a bad idea, just it will cost you a lot of time and hard work ;)

Do what you feel and never follow. I'll keep coming as long as you keep posting.

you should totally repost everything because all the latest stuff that you've posted is the shit and i need good, old school cuts with a lot of a capellas and instrumentals for sampling. the work that people like you do is important to the modern DJ. we appreciate you.

Dude, I've only just discovered this amazing blog of yours. The idea of being able to have access to all the down lo's that have expired is making me over salivate. I appreciate it'll be a lot of hard work and that it may delay the 400 other amazing Lps your waiting to get up in here BUT f**k me!!...if you redeployed those old links I'd jizz in my pants! I love hip hop, LOVE it and finding this blog has just renforced that love. So, there's a clue as to what my opinion is on you getting these links retro-active. DOOOOO ITTTT...do it, do it DO IT!...please =) Peace & Chicken grease, E.

Also bigups from me, have followed this blog for years now.

Only thing that bothers me is z-share, things runnin real slow here.

Maybe you should concider another host for your uploads, where albums won't get taken down, without any expire dates etc.

i agree with jazzitup. a new host for your files may save you some of that precious time in the long run...
lot's of work ahead but it's definitely been one of the best and most interesting blogs i've ever seen

massive props. i grew up in that era but didn't get to listen to any of the really good stuff.

I discovered this blog late last year and any albums i was unable to get i eventually found through the means of another blog. You're not responsible for us late-comers. It is a lot of work and a lot of effort and you really should focus that energy into your studies. No need to start from scratch.

Whatever you decide, good luck. I appreciate all the good work you've put in here. Lots of great uploads.

I will echo the words above about z-share not being the "go to" file sharer anymore.

Thanks for the years of dopeness.
Peace

repost the highlights but skip the stuff with little to no original feedback. keep it up magga.

Amazing blog! It's much appreciated! Re-ups would be incredible, but either way you're doing a great job.

1st off, Props on your work on the site:
You got a lot of stuff I was looking for, but most of the links are dead for what I wanted since most were upped a few years back.

Blogs like this help to expose people to stuff they would've otherwise never heard; whether they weren't around, weren't checkin' for it back in the day, or had their CD's & tapes jacked too many times to want to remember like me. lol Fuck Tha 'Hood

I don't see the argument of stealing either; This is more like educating, bc if there's something I DL, if it's dope, I'll buy the physical. Plus, it leads me to other music that I woulnd't have had the chance to hear.
Do what you want; you're doing all the work, bruh. I'm just worried for these sites, bc the big G has been known to kill these Blogz with no warning. Just a word of caution; A lotta the sites I used to be on religiously got merked.
Much Respect from the Bay
